PhysE\u2019s experienced oceanographers specialise in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>analysis and interpretation of measured, hindcast and remotely-sensed marine environmental data;<\/li>\n<li>application of specialist statistical methods, as described in International Standard BS EN ISO 19901-1;<\/li>\n<li>application of computer models from the DHI MIKE21 Suite;<\/li>\n<li>oceanographic project and contractor management services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Independent expertise offered by PhysE is appropriate to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the design of:\n<ul>\n<li>offshore platforms, including mobile rigs, fixed platforms and floating facilities<\/li>\n<li>offshore wind farms<\/li>\n<li>offshore and coastal mooring facilities for loading and offloading of product<\/li>\n<li>subsea infrastructure<\/li>\n<li>ports and harbours<\/li>\n<li>outfalls (coastal circulation studies);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>weather sensitivity studies for the operation of coastal and offshore facilities including the estimation of downtime and weather windows for tow-out and installation;<\/li>\n<li>the provision of management services to support tenders, contractor supervision, quality control and management of metocean data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>PhysE works closely with <a href=\"https:\/\/icon.software\/\">Icon Software<\/a>.
