Yarmouth Office

Sailing in Yarmouth: PhysE sponsored Carisbrooke High School in the 'Round the Island' race.Yarmouth Isle of Wight neighbours Cowes, arguably Europe's premier sailing venue. Our office windows look out over the 'race track'. PhysE occupies part of the building in which the harbour offices are situated, right on the harbourside.

Our part of the building is known locally as 'The Palace'; a name it acquired during a planning dispute some years ago, and which has stuck. The office has windows on 3 sides, with commanding views to the north over the western Solent; to the west over the harbour and boatyards, and to the south into the Yar estuary.

PhysE advisors are equipped with powerful two-screen PCs – one to handle number crunching and one for technical writing.

Travelling Here

By car: In Lymington follow signs to the Isle of Wight Ferry. Leave your car in the car park at the Lymington ferry terminal.

By rail: Either

• disembark at Southampton, take the free bus to Town Quay Terminal 2, travel to Cowes aboard the "Red Jet" fast catamaran (half hourly @ 15 and 45 after the hour).  Then take a taxi to Yarmouth Harbour offices.
• Or change at Brockenhurst and take branch line to Lymington Harbour (do not disembark at Lymington Town). Then take the Wightlink car ferry to Yarmouth. The ferry docks within the harbour where PhysE's offices are situated.

By plane:

• To Heathrow: then by self-drive hire car to Lymington. Or, using public transport: Rail-air bus link to Woking; then by rail as above.
• To Southampton: then by rail (the station is immediately adjacent the airport terminal) as above.

...and then by ferry: Take the Wightlink ferry from Lymington to Yarmouth. The crossing lasts approximatly 40 minutes and ferries leave either half-hourly or hourly during the day, depending on the time of year. More information can be found on the Wightlink web site. PhysE is less than 300 metres from the Yarmouth ferry terminal, and is located in the first floor of the harbour offices. Click here for a map.

Aberdeen Office

The 'Aberdeen' office is in fact situated in the town of Banchory, about 25 miles inland from Aberdeen itself. Thus the Aberdeen traffic is avoided, and yet we are within an easy drive of the Aberdeen Industrial Parks and the Town centre.

With the primary administrative function being run from the Yarmouth office, the serviced office accommodation provided by Banchory Business Centre is an ideal solution to our requirements for a second office.
